Endeavour Boree Regatta

What is the Endeavour Boree Regatta ?

The Boree Regatta is a combination of two events, the first Boree (land events) was held in 1965 and the first Regatta was held to mark the 60th anniversary of 1st Cronulla Scout Group. Following the success of these two activities, in 1975 it was decided to combine them both into the Boree Regatta.

Today, the Boree Regatta attracts participants from both the Scout and Guide Associations from across the Region.

The theme for 2014 is “20th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family”

Times:   17th to 19th October 2014

Venue:  Bonna Point,  Kurnell

Prerequisite:       Being a registered member of either the Guide or Scout Association

Cut Off Date:    Friday 19 September 2014

Region Mindari

SOUTH METROPOLITAN – REGION MINDARI

What is Region Mindari

The Region Mindari is a meeting of District Scout Leaders and District Mindari Leaders held on a monthly basis to discuss the operation of the Scout Section in the Region.

Usual items of business include:

  • State and Region event planning
  • Adventurer level journey and Australian Scout Medallion applications
  • District reports and events

The meeting is open for all leaders and youth members (if they wish to attend) to observe. However, only leaders representing their district and invited guests will be allowed to take an active part in the meeting.

Times

Meeting starts at 7.30pm and finishes 9.30pm (Approximately)
