First Aid

All members of the movement are encouraged to have first aid skills and one of the best ways to achieve this is by attending a Workcover approved Course provided by an approved First Aid Training Provider.A recognised First Aid certificate is required to hold qualifications in most activity areas and is essential for “activity leaders”.South Metropolitan Region have a team of “scout” trainers and assessors who are qualified to run St John accredited courses.

The St Johns Ambulance (Scout Region) will be running the following First Aid Courses in South Met Region in 2020 -

 2 Day – Provide First Aid

  • 7 – 8        March 2020             Course number 120.4.PR2.MA07.SMOUS
  • 4 – 5        July 2020                 Course number 120.4.PR2.JY04.SMOUS
  • 14 – 15    November 2020      Course number 120.4.PR2.NO14.SMOUS

 1 Day – Provide First Aid – One day course + online training to be done prior

  • 3         May 2020                     Course number  120.4.PR1.MY03.SMOUS
  • 26       July 2020                     Course number  120.4.PR1.JY26.SMOUN
  • 13        September 2020         Course number  120.4.PR1.SE13.SMOUS
